Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Gallardo made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benji Duarte during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Frinton booed when Padiham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benji Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Murgas got free with Benjamín Mena in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Deris Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarbelio Fernandez in the 17th minute of play. When Frinton's Manuel Gallardo in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Padiham AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Frinton's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Cetino came free, but Benjamín Mena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Esteban Cetino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Padiham AFC's Francisco Murgas got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban Cetino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Benjamín Mena managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Padiham AFC's Francisco Murgas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Cetino in the 39th minute of play forced Frinton's goalkeeper Benjamín Mena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Esteban Cetino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamín Mena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frinton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Francisco Murgas scored to the left of an out of position Benjamín Mena, making the score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Cetino was the one to do the kick off. If Manuel Gallardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Eliseo Pinho fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frinton's protests and gave Eliseo Pinho a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Frinton got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Pinho. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Gallardo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deris Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eliseo Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Murgas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamín Mena having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Frinton's Eliseo Pinho got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Padiham AFC's Francisco Murgas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamín Mena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Padiham AFC's zone, Sarbelio Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deris Cruz came out of the goal and Sarbelio Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 86 in the game by Sarbelio Fernandez from a close distance when the talented Deris Cruz managed to make a qualified save. Padiham AFC's players were relieved. Sarbelio Fernandez in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Deris Cruz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Esteban Cetino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamín Mena having to interfere. A collision led to Frinton getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cristian Chavez hit a great ball. Francisco Murgas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
