Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jhonnatan Orobio kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Shawn Anaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Zaldaña. Peterborough City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shawn Anaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sarbelio Díaz during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sarbelio Díaz kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Shawn Anaya kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Wotton-under-Edge booed when Peterborough City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Meza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Zaldaña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jhonnatan Orobio in the 11th minute of play. Jhonnatan Orobio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ismael Zaldaña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jhonnatan Orobio in the 14th minute of play forced Peterborough City's goalkeeper Ismael Zaldaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolás Posadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jhonnatan Orobio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Ventura made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Alfredo Orozco sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th match minute, Wotton-under-Edge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Montes to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Nicolás Posadas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elias Ventura, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Wotton-under-Edge's William Montes got a free kick in the 41st minute. Juan Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Elias Ventura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Wotton-under-Edge were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolás Posadas made a kick off. The Wotton-under-Edge fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Wotton-under-Edge's Jhonnatan Orobio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elias Ventura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Orozco in the 55th minute of the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Alfredo Orozco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wotton-under-Edge's Elias Ventura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Montes during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wotton-under-Edge's William Montes got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Alfredo Orozco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Shawn Anaya came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Wotton-under-Edge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shawn Anaya couldn't finish the play. Elias Ventura came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Peterborough City's Alfredo Orozco. But to his dismay, Alfredo Orozco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Alfredo Orozco might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Ventura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Orozco ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Wotton-under-Edge's zone, Alfredo Orozco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Ventura came out of the goal and Alfredo Orozco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Peterborough City had won after a very even match.
