In the 3rd minute, Miguel Arellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Granados showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Ancheta, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Amilcar Mena lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 11th minute, one of Nassington FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nassington FC. In the 15th minute, Waldir Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Larios was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldir Lima in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Larios saved Nassington FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Cowplain's Jaime Granados got control of the ball when Deris Galdamez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Cowplain's Waldir Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Larios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Alferez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Edgar Larios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Nassington FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jairo Hinguanzo hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deris Galdamez to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldir Lima in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Larios saved Nassington FC from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Cowplain's goal looked a bit too open when Deris Galdamez came free, but Jaime Granados reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Nassington FC's Deris Galdamez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Granados made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Josue Uranga was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Josue Uranga kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Cowplain's goal looked a bit too open when Deris Galdamez came free, but Jaime Granados reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nassington FC's zone, Juan Alferez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Larios came out of the goal and Juan Alferez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deris Galdamez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Granados having to interfere. A hard shot 84 in the game by Juan Alferez from a close distance when the talented Edgar Larios managed to make a qualified save. Nassington FC's players were relieved. Jaime Granados made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deris Galdamez in the 85th minute of play. Jaime Granados took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deris Galdamez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldir Lima during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Nassington FC booed when Cowplain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Brizuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cowplain had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
