The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christian Melendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Antonio Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Pewsey United's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Prado came free, but Antonio Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pewsey United's Antonio Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Castillo in the 9th minute of play. When Alexis Prado came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Potters Bar AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexis Prado couldn't finish the play. Antonio Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudy Castillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Potters Bar AFC's Rafael Bran pulled a muscle in his back after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ramon Quijada charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramon Quijada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Pewsey United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Quijada to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Potters Bar AFC's goalkeeper Marcelo Ventura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Omar Barrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Barrera in the 41st minute of play forced Potters Bar AFC's goalkeeper Marcelo Ventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Ramon Quijada made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pewsey United booed when Potters Bar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Alas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ramon Quijada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Omar Barrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Ventura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Quijada in the 61st minute of the match. Marcelo Ventura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Quijada, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Antonio Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Alexis Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pewsey United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
