In the 5th minute, Rene Pimentel made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Prado. Alveley United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Raúl Gomez might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emerson Dubon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raúl Gomez ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Rene Pimentel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Prado was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Dunston City's Emerson Dubon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Dunston City from getting a goal against them. Efren Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Arturo Magaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alveley United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Magaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Arturo Magaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dunston City's Emerson Dubon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Gomez in the 27th minute of play. If Arturo Magaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerson Dubon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Gomez in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dunston City's Odir Boianelli got a free kick in the 31st minute. Erick Canales blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Prado having to make a save. A collision led to Alveley United getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Mauro Anaya hit a great ball. Lorenzo Hinguanzo, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mauro Anaya hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Pimentel in the 46th minute of play forced Alveley United's goalkeeper Hugo Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Raúl Orobio charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Orobio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Raúl Orobio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erick Canales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Erick Canales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Erick Canales fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dunston City's protests and gave Erick Canales a yellow card for diving instead. Erick Canales kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Dunston City's Emerson Dubon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Magaña in the 68th minute of play. Efren Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Arturo Magaña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Dunston City getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Efren Prado hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Raúl Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Dubon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Dunston City's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Gomez came free, but Emerson Dubon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efren Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Anaya during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Mauro Anaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hugo Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Dunston City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dunston City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
