Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Max Santana made the kick off and thus started the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Max Santana took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ivan Rivas to make any attempt to save it. Jairo Erazo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Pineda having to make a save. Mariano Barragan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Pineda having to interfere. Mevagissey's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Max Santana 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Leopoldo Pineda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Erazo's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Barragan in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Pineda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjamín Sosa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Jairo Erazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Pineda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Pacheco charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Pacheco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Jonathan Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Launceston's Jorge García broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Max Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Rivas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mevagissey's zone, Max Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Rivas came out of the goal and Max Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaac Chavez kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Jonathan Pacheco hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Mevagissey defense, Alvaro Bran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Rivas. The Mevagissey fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Rivas should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Barragan made a kick off. The supporters of Launceston booed when Mevagissey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Chavez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Benjamín Sosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Rivas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Leopoldo Pineda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Barragan in the 66th minute of the match. Jairo Erazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Jairo Erazo notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Launceston's Leopoldo Pineda. Leopoldo Pineda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jairo Erazo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mevagissey's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Erazo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Pineda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Barragan in the 88th minute of play forced Launceston's goalkeeper Leopoldo Pineda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Pineda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Barragan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alvaro Bran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Launceston were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mevagissey for a fine match.
