Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julio Carballo got the match started through his kick off. Julio Carballo scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eraldo Granados, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ovidio Alfaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Valenzuela in the 12th minute. Julio Carballo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neston United's Eraldo Granados played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Carballo in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Atletico Portuario's Julio Carballo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eraldo Granados narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Julio Carballo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Shawn Padilla came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Atletico Portuario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shawn Padilla couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Gamero in the 31st minute of play forced Atletico Portuario's goalkeeper Ovidio Alfaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Valenzuela charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Valenzuela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Efrain Valenzuela hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Neston United's zone, Elias Morales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eraldo Granados came out of the goal and Elias Morales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute Julio Carballo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Granados saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shawn Padilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eraldo Granados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Carballo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eraldo Granados took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shawn Padilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Atletico Portuario got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Fornos. With a little luck, Atletico Portuario's Ovidio Alfaro got control of the ball when Felipe Zaldaña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidio Alfaro came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Neston United's Efrain Valenzuela. But to his dismay, Efrain Valenzuela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Miguel Gamero made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Miguel Gamero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Alfaro. Atletico Portuario's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Gamero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Julio Carballo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrés Aguilar hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Elias Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Eraldo Granados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eraldo Granados showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Carballo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Neston United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Shawn Padilla fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Julio Carballo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrés Aguilar kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Julio Carballo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Carballo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidio Alfaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Gamero in the 80th minute of the match. Benji Guardado hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ulises Padilla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ovidio Alfaro. Atletico Portuario's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Atletico Portuario's Ovidio Alfaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Valenzuela in the 85th minute of play. Eraldo Granados showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Carballo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Atletico Portuario's Ovidio Alfaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Gamero in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Atletico Portuario's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Valenzuela came free, but Ovidio Alfaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Atletico Portuario defense, Miguel Gamero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Alfaro. The Atletico Portuario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Alfaro should have stopped the shot.
