No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

50 minutes into the game, Manuel Llorente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kettering's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leicester AFC the free kick. Jorge Larios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Osorio having to interfere. If Allan Calderon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Kettering's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Calderon came free, but Juan Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Osorio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Calderon's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Jorge Larios sped through Kettering's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Osorio. After 76 played minutes Kettering got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Gamero. Allan Calderon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leicester AFC fully deserved thier win.
