After having played for 15 minutes, Adolfo Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tavistock United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Sanchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Oporto in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amilcar Messias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauricio Oporto succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Raúl Cabrera took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelo Padilla. Frimley Green's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Amilcar Messias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauricio Oporto's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Christian Parada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tavistock United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
