Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felipe Cetino started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes, Tavistock United's Benjamín Umaña shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Giovani Serrano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tavistock United reached it. 17 minutes into the game, Leonel Zaldaña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tavistock United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Tavistock United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Zaldaña to maneuver through the defense. Giovani Serrano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Meza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Serrano having to interfere. If Miguel Meza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Sanchez struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Giovani Serrano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tavistock United. In the 38th minute, Miguel Meza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Manchester United booed when Tavistock United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Cabrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edgardo Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Sanchez was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Cetino in the 53rd minute of play forced Tavistock United's goalkeeper Amilcar Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Meza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Serrano having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Miguel Meza could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Giovani Serrano however easily saved by the left post. 60 minutes into the game, Miguel Gallegos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tavistock United the free kick. In the 62nd minute, the referee gave Tavistock United a penalty. Benjamín Umaña looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Giovani Serrano. 75 minutes into the match, Miguel Meza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Manchester United's Giovani Serrano. Giovani Serrano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United's goalkeeper Giovani Serrano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Oswaldo Menjivar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manchester United's Edgardo Montes got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Edgardo Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Tavistock United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Manchester United throughout the match.
