In the 4th minute Edwin Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blofield United's Gilberto Garay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Castro in the 5th minute of play. Gilberto Garay had great luck who in the 6thth minute grab hold of the ball when Dagoberto Castro from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 8th minute of the match Portchester got a corner. Blofield United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Reyes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dagoberto Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gilberto Garay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Collado charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Collado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Edwin Morales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Ribeiro was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Odir Bentos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Gilberto Garay made a huge save. If Dagoberto Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute of the match Odir Boianelli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Ribeiro skillfully saved the ball. In the 33rd minute, one of Blofield United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Blofield United. The referee gave Portchester a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Felipe Reyes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Blofield United's Gilberto Garay. 1-0. After 37 minutes, Oswaldo Paz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blofield United and the Portchester players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Portchester booed when Blofield United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Mayen's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. A hard shot 42 in the game by Odir Bentos from a close distance when the talented Gilberto Garay managed to make a qualified save. Blofield United's players were relieved. Felipe Reyes hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennys Collado during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Odir Bentos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Garay having to interfere. Edwin Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Juan Mayen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Portchester's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
