Buckingham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alvaro Sifon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Lozano in the 9th minute of the match. Dennys Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexis Gallegos having to interfere. Alexis Gallegos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Lozano, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Rene Cetino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alvaro Sifon, 1-0.
