Henry Talia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Lozano in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Tewkesbury's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Lozano came free, but Henry Talia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes Tewkesbury's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rudy Valenzuela who took care of the corner kick. Dennys Gomez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Henry Talia made a huge save. Tewkesbury's Henry Talia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Lozano in the 25th minute of play. When Yasir Dubon fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buckingham's protests and gave Yasir Dubon a yellow card for diving instead. Yasir Dubon hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Francisco Boianelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rony Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. The Tewkesbury fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Talia should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Buckingham's Alvaro Sifon got control of the ball when Francisco Boianelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Tewkesbury getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Christian Ventura hit a great ball. Dennys Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Buckingham fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tewkesbury had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
