The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Fuentes having to interfere. Emerson Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Alvarado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. When Dagoberto Flores fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dorchester's protests and gave Dagoberto Flores a yellow card for diving instead. 16 minutes into the game, one of Dorchester:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Evington. Victor Sanchez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edgardo Alvarado. 0-2. Luis Bustamante struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Alonso Fuentes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dorchester. Evington's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Augusto Moreira scored to the left of an out of position Alonso Fuentes, making the score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Evington's Camilo Barreto got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute of the match Alfredo Valenzuela shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alonso Fuentes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgardo Alvarado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Villarreal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Dorchester getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Leopoldo Mora hit a great ball. Edgardo Alvarado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Villarreal, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Rolando Carballo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Edgardo Alvarado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonso Fuentes made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Luis Bustamante sent off a good shot on target. Edgardo Alvarado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Villarreal's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Ladislao Villarreal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgardo Alvarado having to make a save. Emerson Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Edgardo Alvarado made a huge save. After some careless play in the Dorchester defense, Emerson Fernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Alvarado. The Dorchester fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Alvarado should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Moreira in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonso Fuentes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Evington's Ladislao Villarreal got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emerson Fernandez kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 77thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Dorchester's keeper Edgardo Alvarado was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dorchester's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Sanchez was slow to take the kick. During this time Evington's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Emerson Fernandez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dorchester's Edgardo Alvarado did a great save. After 80 minutes, Luis Bustamante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dorchester and the Evington players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Evington booed when Dorchester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Bustamante didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emerson Fernandez got free with Edgardo Alvarado in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute Rolando Carballo suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Mora during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leopoldo Mora hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Edgardo Alvarado made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Emerson Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. After 89 played minutes Dorchester got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Moreira. Dorchester's Augusto Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Evington players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
