Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ladislao Villarreal kicked off to start the match. Juan Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Villarreal in the 8th minute of the match. Juan Ramirez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emerson Fernandez in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Evington's zone, Manuel Larios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonso Fuentes came out of the goal and Manuel Larios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Villarreal in the 17th minute of play. When Ladislao Villarreal got free in front of the goal in the 18th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Juan Ramirez was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rolando Messias hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Evington's Camilo Barreto got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 29 minutes, Manuel Larios made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Evington's Alonso Fuentes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 played minutes Willenhall FC got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Toledano. In the 39th minute, Camilo Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Willenhall FC's Rolando Messias, in the 41st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Willenhall FC. Emerson Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Willenhall FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Larios made a kick off. Emerson Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Ramirez having to interfere. Ladislao Villarreal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Ramirez having to interfere. In the 57th minute Emerson Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Ramirez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Villarreal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Rolando Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Evington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Willenhall FC the free kick. In the 63rd minute Willenhall FC were awarded a corner. Isaac Messias went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Isaac Messias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Evington's Alonso Fuentes did a great save. If Emerson Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Messias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Alonso Fuentes made a huge save. Manuel Larios received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alonso Fuentes came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Larios slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 80th minute. A collision led to Evington getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Victor Sanchez hit a great ball. Manuel Larios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Fuentes having to interfere. If Manuel Larios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Willenhall FC's Manuel Larios in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Evington's goalie prevented a goal. When Rolando Messias came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Willenhall FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Messias couldn't finish the play. Rolando Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
