Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Clevedon FC's Victor Granados started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. William Bustamante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Eliseo Sifon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Sifon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Granados in the 5th minute of the match. Josue Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 14 minutes, Ivan Velis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haydock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Velis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josue Fernandez in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josue Flores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Victor Granados kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eliseo Sifon. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Ivan Velis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josue Flores was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Victor Granados managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clevedon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Granados was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Sifon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 minutes, Diego Costas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clevedon FC and the Haydock players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Clevedon FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Haydock:s goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Ivan Velis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clevedon FC's Josue Flores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camilo Posadas, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Clevedon FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Haydock were winning 1-2.

A collision led to Haydock getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Joselito Cerritos hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Haydock's goal looked a bit too open when William Bustamante came free, but Eliseo Sifon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Bustamante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Sifon having to interfere. Josue Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Josue Fernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josue Flores was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th match minute, Clevedon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. When Josue Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Haydock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josue Fernandez couldn't finish the play. If William Bustamante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Clevedon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Josue Fernandez came free, but Josue Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josue Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josue Flores having to make a save. When Josue Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Haydock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josue Fernandez couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Guerrero during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute William Bustamante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Sifon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Clevedon FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Haydock's performance. The match ended with a win for Haydock.
