Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Josue Fernandez started the match with the kick off. Jose Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Calverley United's Alonso Palencia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some careless play in the Haydock defense, Odir Bustamante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseo Sifon. The Haydock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Sifon should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Odir Bustamante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseo Sifon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odir Bustamante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 23 minutes, Efrain Rivero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calverley United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Rivero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Velis got free with Mario Carranza in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Velis took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Carranza. Mario Carranza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Calverley United's goalkeeper Mario Carranza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Velis. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Efrain Rivero made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Calverley United's goal looked a bit too open when Josue Fernandez came free, but Mario Carranza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Rivero in the 57th minute of play forced Haydock's goalkeeper Eliseo Sifon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Ivan Velis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Carranza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Velis in the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Calverley United's zone, Ivan Velis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Carranza came out of the goal and Ivan Velis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haydock's Eliseo Sifon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Rivero in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Haydock booed when Calverley United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Rivero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haydock's goalkeeper Eliseo Sifon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 1-2 became the score in the 83rd minute when Efrain Rivero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Haydock's Ivan Velis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Carranza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
