Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Rey started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Leonel Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Guzman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Stockbridge's zone, Luis Espindola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovani Guzman came out of the goal and Luis Espindola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franklin Ancheta hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Giovani Guzman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonel Cruz went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franklin Ancheta during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stockbridge's Franklin Ancheta got a free kick in the 16th minute. Prescot's Danilo Orobio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Rey in the 18th minute of play. Franklin Monzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Danilo Orobio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Franklin Monzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockbridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Franklin Monzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Orobio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franklin Monzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Orobio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Rey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-1 became the score in the 47th minute when Franklin Monzon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Prescot. Ladislao Braun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Giovani Guzman. 1-2. Victor Rey scored 2-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Orobio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 68 minutes, Alberto Rivero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockbridge and the Prescot players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Alberto Rivero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giovani Guzman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Cruz in the 70th minute of the match. Giovani Guzman made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Edgardo Quijada sent off a good shot on target. Victor Rey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Franklin Monzon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stockbridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franklin Monzon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramon Olmedo's late challenge caught a Prescot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Olmedo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Prescot booed when Stockbridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Olmedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stockbridge's Giovani Guzman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Cruz in the 89th minute of play. Luis Espindola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Guzman having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
