Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rene Lara made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes, Mauro Guerrero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hardwick and the Goole players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute of the match Hector Salguero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but William Sandoval skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, Hardwick's Christian Cortez threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jhalmar Palencia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Christian Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasir Ocampo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Mora struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Christian Cortez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hardwick. In the 12th minute Jhalmar Palencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Goole got a freekick which was hit by Erick Alferez. With his leg Christian Cortez managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Hardwick's Yasir Ocampo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Goole getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alfredo Carranza hit a great ball. Yasir Ocampo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Christian Cortez made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jhalmar Palencia in the 28th minute of play forced Goole's goalkeeper Christian Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paolo Victorino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Hardwick getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Pablo Mora hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Goole's Hector Salguero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rene Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. William Sandoval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jhalmar Palencia made a kick off. Rene Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yasir Ocampo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jhalmar Palencia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yasir Ocampo in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paolo Victorinos short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got William Sandoval to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Erick Alferez charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erick Alferez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erick Alferez hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Lara in the 75th minute of play forced Hardwick's goalkeeper William Sandoval to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Goole's zone, Jhalmar Palencia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Cortez came out of the goal and Jhalmar Palencia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jhalmar Palencia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goole's Paolo Victorino got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Goole's Paolo Victorino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that William Sandoval narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfredo Carranza hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Hardwick supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Goole's performance. The match ended with a win for Goole.
