Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Prescot's Leonel Cruz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Prescot's Luis Espindola in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goole's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Lara in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Orobio saved Prescot from getting behind. Leonel Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Christian Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Chavez kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Cruz in the 22nd minute of play forced Goole's goalkeeper Christian Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Paolo Victorino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Danilo Orobio. The goal made the score 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Erick Alferez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goole's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prescot the free kick. The supporters of Prescot booed when Goole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erick Alferez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Goole's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ladislao Braun was slow to take the kick. During this time Prescot's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ladislao Braun almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Goole's Christian Cortez did a great save. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Christian Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Cruz in the 80th minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Ernesto Coria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prescot and the Goole players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 87 minutes, Luis Espindola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prescot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Espindola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 played minutes Goole got a freekick which was hit by Hector Salguero.
