Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Victor Rey kicked off to start the match. William Sandoval made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Rey in the 4th minute of play. Giovani Guzman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yasir Ocampo's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stockbridge's zone, Jhalmar Palencia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovani Guzman came out of the goal and Jhalmar Palencia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 9 minutes, Pablo Fuentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockbridge and the Hardwick players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Stockbridge got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Fuentes. In the 13th minute Jhalmar Palencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Guzman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Victor Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockbridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Rey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Sandoval breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Franklin Monzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franklin Monzon struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. William Sandoval didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockbridge. 29 minutes into the match, Stockbridge's goal looked a bit too open when Yasir Ocampo came free, but Giovani Guzman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Liborio during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hardwick booed when Stockbridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Liborio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Hardwick's William Sandoval got control of the ball when Franklin Monzon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Hardwick's goalkeeper William Sandoval had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franklin Monzon. After a defensive mix-up in Hardwick's zone, Franklin Monzon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Sandoval came out of the goal and Franklin Monzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Victor Rey scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of William Sandoval, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yasir Ocampo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Guzman having to interfere. Jhalmar Palencia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Yasir Ocampo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Giovani Guzman made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Franklin Monzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockbridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Franklin Monzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Sandoval breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Stockbridge booed when Hardwick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Sandoval having to interfere. Max Castro's late challenge caught a Stockbridge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Max Castro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hardwick getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Max Castro hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Franklin Monzon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Sandoval. Hardwick's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franklin Monzon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Franklin Monzon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Sandoval having to make a save. Jhalmar Palencia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Barquero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Giovani Guzman. Stockbridge's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Giovani Guzman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jhalmar Palencia in the 96th minute of the match. Stockbridge's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
