Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Douglas Torres started the match with the kick off. Northleach AFC's Victorino Fornos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Torres in the 6th minute of play. Victorino Fornos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benji Magaña in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Northleach AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Montes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benji Magaña in the 17th minute of play forced Northleach AFC's goalkeeper Victorino Fornos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Benji Magaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Fornos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Rolando Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Avilio Henriquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Northleach AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avilio Henriquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rony Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Hurtado having to interfere. With his leg Alvaro Hurtado managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Northleach AFC's Rolando Nunes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 44 minutes of play, Paignton's Benji Magaña made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorino Fornos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Northleach AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paignton were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Avilio Henriquez to strike the kick off in the second half. Rolando Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Hurtado having to interfere. Douglas Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute of the match, Benji Magaña got a very nice opportunity to score, but Victorino Fornos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alvaro Hurtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Nunes in the 66th minute of the match. Henry Bermudez charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Bermudez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Paignton getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Henry Bermudez hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Northleach AFC's Avilio Henriquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Hurtado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Douglas Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Northleach AFC's zone, Benji Magaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Fornos came out of the goal and Benji Magaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Douglas Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avilio Henriquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Hurtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. If Douglas Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Northleach AFC's Victorino Fornos got control of the ball when Benji Magaña tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Paignton players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
