Jairo Valenzuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Francisco Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Jairo Valenzuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Liskeard AFC's Ulises Carranza got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Boianelli in the 65th minute of play forced Liskeard AFC's goalkeeper Francisco Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrés Castaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Flamenco in the 67th minute of the match. If Jairo Valenzuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Francisco Boianelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Croston FC's Jairo Valenzuela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Guerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Francisco Boianelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Croston FC got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Corrales. Liskeard AFC were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Croston FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manuel Sosa took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Ulises Carranza heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Carlos Cabrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Liskeard AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
