Amilcar Del Carmen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yasir Ortiz having to make a save. In the 12thth minute of the game Mario Salguero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ince's Yasir Ortiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fidel Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Frinton FC's Amilcar Del Carmen stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Yasir Ortiz stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Ince of the goal. Eliseo Bustamante scored 2-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emerson Mondragon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Mario Salguero came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Frinton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Salguero couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Salguero made a kick off. Eliseo Bustamante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson Mondragon was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Alexis Sifon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexis Sifon really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Emerson Mondragon made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Eliseo Bustamante sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Frinton FC's corner Julio Carballo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yasir Ortiz quite easily take care of the ball. Ince were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
