Agustin Hidalgo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Galaxia FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Calderon. In the 28th match minute, Galaxia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Collado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Arango in the 34th minute of play forced Galaxia FC's goalkeeper Augusto Najarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Najarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Arango, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Baldock FC's Alfredo Huezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Najarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Galaxia FC's zone, Mauro Arango stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Najarro came out of the goal and Mauro Arango tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Galaxia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Arango came free, but Augusto Najarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Baldock FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Huezo to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Galaxia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Huezo came free, but Augusto Najarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Arango received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Augusto Najarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Gilberto Lovo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galaxia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Lovo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yasir Boianelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauro Arango struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Augusto Najarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baldock FC.
