In the 4thth minute of the game Hector Cerritos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ambleside FC's Cristian Sanchez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Harlesden booed when Ambleside FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Berrueta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harlesden's Luis Rey got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Hector Cerritos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cristian Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ambleside FC's zone, Luis Rey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Sanchez came out of the goal and Luis Rey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josue Rivas got his second yellow card in the match during the 18th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 18th minute, Josue Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ambleside FC's zone, Luis Rey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Sanchez came out of the goal and Luis Rey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Harlesden getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Zelvin Pimentel hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Paolo Oporto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ambleside FC's zone, Hector Cerritos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Sanchez came out of the goal and Hector Cerritos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luis Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Hector Cerritos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Sanchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, one of Ambleside FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ambleside FC. When Zelvin Pimentel fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harlesden's protests and gave Zelvin Pimentel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Harlesden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zelvin Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Paolo Oporto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Cerritos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cristian Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilmer Melendez charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilmer Melendez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Harlesden getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Wilmer Melendez hit a great ball. Luis Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Sanchez having to interfere. Hector Cerritos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Cristian Sanchez made a huge save. Ladislao Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Zapata having to interfere. Ambleside FC's Cristian Sanchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Rey in the 74th minute of play. Cristian Sanchez came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Harlesden's Luis Rey. But to his dismay, Luis Rey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Hector Cerritos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cristian Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ambleside FC's Ladislao Rojas got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Hector Cerritos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harlesden's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Cerritos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Sanchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sanchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Rey in the 90th minute of play. Harlesden played a much better game than Ambleside FC and deserved their victory. The Ambleside FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
