Max Cerna started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Guardado got free with Esteban Pacheco in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolás Pimentel during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mount Hawke City! Marlow United:s Esteban Pacheco showed great skill when he stopped Adolfo Lozano:s penalty. Max Cerna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alfredo Orellana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Arnoldo Hernández managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marlow United's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Hernández was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Orellana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Alfredo Orellana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Max Cerna went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, Marlow United's goalkeeper Esteban Pacheco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Guardado. Ruben Villanueva struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Esteban Pacheco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mount Hawke City. Esteban Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Villanueva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruben Villanueva to make the kick off. Dagoberto Fuentes hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Adolfo Lozano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteban Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Villanueva, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Ruben Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes, Yasir Huezo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marlow United and the Mount Hawke City players grew even worse after the yellow card.
