After 2 played minutes Weybridge got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Salguero. After 4 minutes, Mauricio Barquero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Weybridge and the Stanway City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mauricio Barquero hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Eraldo Salguero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waldir Giron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Weybridge's zone, Francisco Coria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josue Castaneda came out of the goal and Francisco Coria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Weybridge:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stanway City:s goal. Jaime Ancheta shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a little luck, Weybridge's Josue Castaneda got control of the ball when Avilio Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Weybridge getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Mauricio Barquero hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Stanway City's Nelson Alvarenga got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Paolo Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Coria's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Josue Castaneda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stanway City's Felipe Mejia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Salguero in the 40th minute of play. Avilio Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josue Castaneda having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eraldo Salguero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Pacheco during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute of the match Jaime Ancheta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josue Castaneda skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Salguero in the 60th minute of play forced Stanway City's goalkeeper Felipe Mejia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Coria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avilio Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josue Castaneda having to interfere. Francisco Coria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josue Castaneda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. If Francisco Coria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Coria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Josue Castaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Larios charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Larios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivan Larios hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Eraldo Salguero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Mejia stood somewhat misplaced when Eraldo Salguero came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 95 minute. The Weybridge players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Stanway City from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
