Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eraldo Salguero got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Luis Navas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Corpeño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josue Castaneda having to interfere. When Luis Navas fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rawtenstall AFC's protests and gave Luis Navas a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Rawtenstall AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Navas. In the 17th minute, Emiliano Aguilar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Weybridge defense, Juan Corpeño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josue Castaneda. The Weybridge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josue Castaneda should have stopped the shot. Emiliano Aguilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliano Aguilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Josue Castaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Corpeño might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josue Castaneda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Corpeño ran back to his position shaking his head. Waldir Giron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Jimenez having to interfere. Carmelo Peredes kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Waldir Giron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Abraham Jimenez made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Aguilar to strike the kick off in the second half. Josue Castaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Aguilar in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Claudio Palma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Weybridge's goalkeeper Josue Castaneda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Corpeño. 61 minutes into the game, one of Weybridge:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, Rawtenstall AFC's Alfredo Escobar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Josue Castaneda. Abraham Jimenez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Giron, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 73rd minute, Waldir Giron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abraham Jimenez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Abraham Jimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Salguero in the 78th minute of play. After 83 minutes, Eraldo Salguero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Weybridge and the Rawtenstall AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rawtenstall AFC booed when Weybridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Salguero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Corpeño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josue Castaneda having to interfere. Waldir Giron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Weybridge's Eraldo Salguero got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Corpeño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rawtenstall AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
