If Enrique Sigaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Shrewsbury's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ringwood the free kick. Humberto Figueroa hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Jhonnatan Canales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Sigaran in the 6th minute of the match. Ringwood's Ulises Orellana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Ringwood from getting a goal against them. Efren Villarreal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Yasir Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Shrewsbury's zone, Efren Villarreal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jhonnatan Canales came out of the goal and Efren Villarreal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jhonnatan Canales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Sigaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Ringwood's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cesar Victorino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ulises Orellana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Victorino, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Agustin Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Orellana having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Victorino in the 69th minute of play forced Ringwood's goalkeeper Ulises Orellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efren Villarreal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Santana in the 91st minute of play forced Ringwood's goalkeeper Ulises Orellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shrewsbury's Jhonnatan Canales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Sigaran in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute, Odir Mejia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Ringwood left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Shrewsbury.
