Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardo Moreira kicked off to start the match. Claudio Henriquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Patricio Portillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Henriquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Portillo having to interfere. Patricio Portillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Monzon in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute Fidel Monzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Henriquezs short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Patricio Portillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felipe Villalobos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Fidel Parada sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Nantwich's Patricio Portillo didn't even have to move. Rodley's Augusto Chavez suffered a concussion after 29 minutes and had to leave the field. Jhonnatan Guzman charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jhonnatan Guzman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Claudio Henriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Claudio Henriquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodley's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Henriquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Portillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Oporto hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nelson Menjivar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nantwich's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelson Menjivar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efren Orellana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudio Henriquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Nantwich booed when Rodley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Monzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Henriquez to make the kick off. Patricio Portillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Monzon went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Ricardo Moreira, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 57 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Efren Orellana was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Nelson Menjivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efren Orellana having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Rodley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilmer Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. Rodley's Efren Orellana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Moreira in the 62nd minute of play. Nelson Menjivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Portillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Henriquez in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Nelson Menjivar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nantwich's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelson Menjivar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efren Orellana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Rodley defense, Ricardo Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efren Orellana. The Rodley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efren Orellana should have stopped the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
