Trimley AFC's Marcos Barragan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Trimley AFC from getting a goal against them. Isaac Meza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Trimley AFC's Marcos Barragan got control of the ball when Avilio Del Cid tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Crediton United's Fabio Campos got a free kick in the 11th minute. Januario Padilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo García, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Alonso Sandoval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Meza in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Barragan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Crediton United booed when Trimley AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Barragan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marvin Zaldaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lorenzo García came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Trimley AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo García couldn't finish the play. After 33 minutes, Isaac Meza made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Trimley AFC's Marcos Barragan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alonso Sandoval kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonso Sandoval was the one to do the kick off. When Alejandro Parada fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crediton United's protests and gave Alejandro Parada a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Crediton United's Alejandro Parada got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Alonso Sandoval recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Trimley AFC's Alonso Sandoval dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Trimley AFC's Alfredo Montes got a free kick in the 59th minute. Alfredo Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Lorenzo García came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Trimley AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo García couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo García fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Januario Padilla having to interfere. Januario Padilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Sandoval in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Lorenzo García managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trimley AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo García was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Dubon during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 85 minutes into the match, Crediton United's goalkeeper Januario Padilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo García. Trimley AFC's Alonso Sandoval got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo García got free with Januario Padilla in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
