Fidel Guardado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jhonnatan Serrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zelvin Henriquez kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benji Erazo got free with Douglas Pacheco in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudio Portillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Pacheco having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Atletico Superacion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Flores to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes Ormskirk got a freekick which was hit by Henry Rivas. In the 18th match minute, Ormskirk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Peredes to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Douglas Pacheco managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Ormskirk's Claudio Portillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Claudio Portillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Douglas Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ormskirk booed when Atletico Superacion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Benavides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Portillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zelvin Henriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ormskirk's Jhonnatan Serrano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Guardado in the 43rd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fidel Guardado made a kick off. Jorge Mendoza hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Superacion's zone, Benji Erazo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Pacheco came out of the goal and Benji Erazo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zelvin Henriquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 67 minutes of play, Ormskirk's Claudio Portillo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Pacheco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Atletico Superacion's Gabriel Flores ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jhonnatan Serrano. Jhonnatan Serrano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 80th minute, Zelvin Henriquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Superacion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. If Fidel Guardado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benji Erazo in the 92nd minute of play forced Atletico Superacion's goalkeeper Douglas Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ormskirk's Jhonnatan Serrano got control of the ball when Zelvin Henriquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atletico Superacion played a much better game than Ormskirk and deserved their victory. The Ormskirk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
