Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Saul Ulloa got the match started through his kick off. When Jairo Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Bahia Azul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Mendez couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute, Saul Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Ulloa in the 5th minute of play forced Bahia Azul's goalkeeper Blaise Gütermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rui de Queiroz sped through Brighton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arturo Sosa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Ulloa in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blaise Gütermann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute Brighton were awarded a corner. Dennys Granados went to the cornerflag to take it. Rui de Queirozs short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Arturo Sosa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Saul Ulloa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Rui de Queiroz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arturo Sosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Rui de Queiroz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 28th minute. Rui de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Sosa having to interfere. Arturo Sosa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bahia Azul's Rui de Queiroz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 38 minutes into the match, Rui de Queiroz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Sosa. Brighton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui de Queiroz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Rui de Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui de Queiroz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brighton's Arturo Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui de Queiroz in the 53rd minute of play. When Bahia Azul's Rui de Queiroz in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brighton's goalie prevented a goal. 57 minutes into the game, Saul Ulloa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brighton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bahia Azul the free kick. After 57 played minutes Brighton got a freekick which was hit by Saul Ulloa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui de Queiroz in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Sosa saved Brighton from getting behind. Arturo Sosa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bahia Azul's Rui de Queiroz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Rui de Queiroz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brighton's Arturo Sosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arturo Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui de Queiroz in the 67th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Rui de Queiroz made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. Brighton's Arturo Sosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Witomir Gaszynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arturo Sosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Sosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui de Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Joselito Bonilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bahia Azul's Rui de Queiroz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Brighton's goal looked a bit too open when Rui de Queiroz came free, but Arturo Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Rui de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bahia Azul fully deserved thier win.
