Estrella Roja were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Bahia Azul's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gürsel Eyüp took the corner. Jacinto Chucho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürsel Eyüp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Jairo Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürsel Eyüp in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Chucho saved Bahia Azul from getting behind. Gürsel Eyüp might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Chucho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gürsel Eyüp ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacinto Chucho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürsel Eyüp in the 27th minute of the match. Abílio Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Botello came free, but Aaron Freeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja's goalkeeper Aaron Freeman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doido De Maré. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doido De Maré made a kick off. Gürsel Eyüp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jacinto Chucho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Freeman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronald Botello went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jacinto Chucho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abílio Assis in the 69th minute of play. If Gürsel Eyüp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doido De Maré in the 75th minute of play forced Estrella Roja's goalkeeper Aaron Freeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
