Raúl Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislao Figueroa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Raúl Lima succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 18th playminute. If Gabriel Zaldaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erick Aguirrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Misael Peredes having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Juan Vasquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Long Eaton United's zone, Gabriel Zaldaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Figueroa came out of the goal and Gabriel Zaldaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raúl Lima struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ladislao Figueroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirroni-cum-Moze City. 46 minutes into the match, Pirroni-cum-Moze City's Gabriel Zaldaña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ladislao Figueroa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efrain Barragan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Prado struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ladislao Figueroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirroni-cum-Moze City. After having played for 57 minutes, Gabriel Zaldaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirroni-cum-Moze City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Zaldaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raúl Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the game, one of Pirroni-cum-Moze City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Raúl Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Figueroa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raúl Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. Misael Peredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Barragan in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Gabriel Zaldaña made a precise shot to the right of Ladislao Figueroa. Long Eaton United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 85th minute, Gabriel Zaldaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ladislao Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Zaldaña in the 87th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pirroni-cum-Moze City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Long Eaton United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
