Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emerson Flamenco made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Gabriel Alvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ladislao Renderos. Gilmorton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 8th minute, Felipe Coria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Flores was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. Ludlow's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Gabriel Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludlow's Edgar Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Flamenco in the 20th minute of play. After 24 played minutes Gabriel Alvarez rounded Gilmorton's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Gilmorton's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Alvarez came free, but Ladislao Renderos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Ludlow got a freekick which was hit by Victor Baptista. Cristian Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Renderos having to interfere. Cristian Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ladislao Renderos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Alvarez in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislao Renderos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, Arnoldo Ancheta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Gilmorton's Ladislao Renderos got control of the ball when Cristian Flores tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ladislao Renderos had great luck who in the 45thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gabriel Alvarez from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Alvarez made a kick off. Luis Ocampo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludlow's Gabriel Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Alvarez in the 66th minute of play forced Gilmorton's goalkeeper Ladislao Renderos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Renderos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Edgar Rey made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Danilo Hidalgo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Gilmorton booed when Ludlow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Ocampo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Danilo Hidalgo made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Rey. Ludlow's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 78 played minutes Ludlow got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Ochoa. Gilmorton's Ladislao Renderos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Flores in the 87th minute of play. Ladislao Renderos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ludlow's Gabriel Alvarez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 92nd minute, Emerson Flamenco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ladislao Renderos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Flores went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Ludlow were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gilmorton for a fine match.
