With a little luck, East Horsley City's Hugo Contrera got control of the ball when Guillermo Guzman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Contrera was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Guillermo Guzman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guillermo Guzman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Hugo Contrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Misael Mena in the 32nd minute. Jairo Escalante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joselito Lovo in the 35th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Joselito Lovo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Horsley City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cheshunt United the free kick. In the 44th match minute, East Horsley City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joselito Lovo to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Guzman's late challenge caught a East Horsley City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Guzman helped the player get up and apologised. Guillermo Guzman hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Lozano made a kick off. Jairo Escalante made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Joselito Lovo sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 61 in the game by Joselito Lovo from a close distance when the talented Jairo Escalante managed to make a qualified save. Cheshunt United's players were relieved. If Joselito Lovo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Cheshunt United's protests and gave Baltazar Ventura a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Cheshunt United got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Ventura. The supporters of Cheshunt United booed when East Horsley City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Aguirrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Cheshunt United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Castaneda to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Cheshunt United's goalkeeper Jairo Escalante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joselito Lovo. A collision led to Cheshunt United getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Efren Arango hit a great ball. When Baltazar Barquero came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the East Horsley City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Barquero couldn't finish the play. Joselito Lovo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. East Horsley City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. East Horsley City's Baltazar Barquero got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cheshunt United's Jairo Escalante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Cheshunt United from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Rafael Lozano made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Contrera. East Horsley City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Cheshunt United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
