Chorley FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timperley's Raúl García played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Medina in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Medina in the 8th minute of play forced Timperley's goalkeeper Raúl García to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Nunes in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Alfaro saved Chorley FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Chorley FC defense, Gabriel Guerrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin Alfaro. The Chorley FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin Alfaro should have stopped the shot. When Alberto Rico fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chorley FC's protests and gave Alberto Rico a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chorley FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Selvin Cerna during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Selvin Cerna hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Raúl García showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Medina in the 26th minute of the match. Ivan Leguizamon kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Gabriel Guerrero hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Alonso Murgas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Efrain Nunes made a kick off. A collision led to Chorley FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Avilio Molina hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes Chorley FC got a freekick which was hit by Avilio Molina. In the 71st minute Ricardo Calderon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Alfaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franklin Alfaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gabriel Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Alfaro having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Chorley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Pérez to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Selvin Cerna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gabriel Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Timperley had won after a very even match.
