Wilmer Castro started the match with the kick off. Salvador Viscarra struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Alexander Sandoval didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Watton-at-Stone City. In the 8th match minute, Watton-at-Stone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudy Ruiz to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Sandoval made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Felipe Vasquez sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Watton-at-Stone City booed when Flitwick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Mena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Vasquez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Watton-at-Stone City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Watton-at-Stone City's Salvador Viscarra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexander Sandoval. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. 19 minutes into the match, Wilmer Castro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Watton-at-Stone City's Rolando Brizuela. Rolando Brizuela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd match minute, Flitwick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Meza to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Vasquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Sandoval having to interfere. Salvador Viscarra was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Watton-at-Stone City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rolando Brizuela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Mena's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Emerson Villatoro kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Watton-at-Stone City's Rolando Brizuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Del Carmen in the 41st minute of play. If Wilmer Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvador Viscarra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Watton-at-Stone City were awarded a corner. Erick Amaya went to the cornerflag to take it. Ruben Escalante thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Alexander Sandoval, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 2-1. If Pablo Del Carmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flitwick's Alexander Sandoval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Viscarra in the 61st minute of play. Alexander Sandoval made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Viscarra in the 65th minute of play. Felipe Vasquez charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Vasquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Watton-at-Stone City's Felipe Vasquez got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Jose Meza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Salvador Viscarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Sandoval saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flitwick's goalkeeper Alexander Sandoval, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Watton-at-Stone City's goalkeeper Rolando Brizuela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Del Carmen. Thanks to some nice moves Pablo Del Carmen could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Rolando Brizuela however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Viscarra in the 82nd minute of play forced Flitwick's goalkeeper Alexander Sandoval to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Vasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Alexander Sandoval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Flitwick players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Watton-at-Stone City from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
