In the 21st minute, Odir Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Salvador Anaya managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Bacup FC's Pablo Mondragon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Odir Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Ortiz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Pablo Mondragon struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Salvador Anaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacup FC. 47 minutes into the match, Bacup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Prado came free, but Omar Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bacup FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Streatham were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Mondragon to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Calderon in the 55th minute of play forced Bacup FC's goalkeeper Omar Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Streatham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudy Calderon to maneuver through the defense. Bacup FC's Milton Figueroa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Streatham. Streatham's Salvador Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Valenzuela in the 62nd minute of play. Alejandro Prado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Omar Duarte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Rudy Valenzuela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Anaya was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Pablo Mondragon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Salvador Anaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudy Valenzuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Anaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Mondragon's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. If Alejandro Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Bacup FC's Omar Duarte got control of the ball when Alejandro Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
