Wells FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 10th minute, Jhalmar Mendoza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Llorente was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Wells FC's William Corrales got a free kick in the 13th minute. Ivan Llorente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wells FC's Guillermo Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wells FC's Ivan Llorente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Mendez in the 26th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Brinklow United got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Anaya. In the 32nd minute of the match, Guillermo Prado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antonio Moreira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 34thth minute of the game Alfredo Mendez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wells FC's Ivan Llorente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Lorenzo Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Wells FC's zone, Alfredo Mendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Llorente came out of the goal and Alfredo Mendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Brinklow United's Jhalmar Mendoza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Llorente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Brinklow United's goalkeeper Antonio Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Orozco. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brinklow United's goalkeeper Antonio Moreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Mendez was the one to do the kick off. Ivan Llorente was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jhalmar Mendoza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. Ivan Llorente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Mendez in the 57th minute of the match. Humberto Navas hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Wells FC's Oswaldo Quijada got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ivan Llorente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Mendez in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Prado in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Moreira saved Brinklow United from getting behind. Antonio Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Prado in the 67th minute of the match. Wells FC's Ivan Llorente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Wells FC from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Orozco notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Brinklow United's Antonio Moreira. Antonio Moreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 76 played minutes Wells FC got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Quijada. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wells FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Odir Alvarado was slow to take the kick. During this time Brinklow United's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Brinklow United's corner Odir Alvarado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivan Llorente quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Lorenzo Orozco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wells FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Orozco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
