Ivan Llorente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Mendoza in the 40th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Edwin Salguero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 61st minute, but Edwin Salguero got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Burton upon Trent City hanging dry this time. Edwin Salguero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Prado's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes Burton upon Trent City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Toledano who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Guillermo Prado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Burton upon Trent City's Edwin Salguero did a great save. Marcos Aguirrez might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Llorente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Aguirrez ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Aguirrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Llorente having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Douglas Mendoza made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Llorente. Wells FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Lorenzo Orozco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Edwin Salguero made a huge save. After taking down the ball on Burton upon Trent City's corner William Fornos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivan Llorente quite easily take care of the ball. If Guillermo Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
