Jhalmar Mendoza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Edwin Salguero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Burton upon Trent City getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Miguel Castillo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Burton upon Trent City's Henry Rivera got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Jhalmar Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Burton upon Trent City's Douglas Mendoza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Moreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 28 played minutes Brinklow United got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Cerritos. Marcos Aguirrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brinklow United's Antonio Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Mendoza in the 36th minute of play. Burton upon Trent City's Edwin Salguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Mendez in the 38th minute of play. Alfredo Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Miguel Castillo made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Moreira. Brinklow United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Alfredo Mendez made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Burton upon Trent City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Castillo to maneuver through the defense. Burton upon Trent City's Edwin Salguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jhalmar Mendoza in the 56th minute of play. When Brinklow United's Jhalmar Mendoza in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Burton upon Trent City's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Burton upon Trent City's zone, Alfredo Mendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Salguero came out of the goal and Alfredo Mendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Brinklow United's Antonio Moreira got control of the ball when Marcos Aguirrez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antonio Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Burton upon Trent City's goalkeeper Edwin Salguero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Brinklow United's goalkeeper Antonio Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Aguirrez. Antonio Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Mendoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jhalmar Mendoza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edwin Salguero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Mendez's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Jhalmar Mendoza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brinklow United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jhalmar Mendoza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Burton upon Trent City getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. William Fornos hit a great ball. Marcos Aguirrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Moreira having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Douglas Mendoza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burton upon Trent City's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Mendoza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Aguirrez got free with Antonio Moreira in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
