Rony Muñoz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luis Giron. Romsey FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Hildenborough's Claudio Hernández in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Romsey FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luis Giron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Luis Giron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Rojas went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luis Giron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Rojas in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Rojas in the 27th minute of play forced Romsey FC's goalkeeper Luis Giron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Alejandro Rojas made a precise shot to the right of Luis Giron. Romsey FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Victorino got free with Esteban Suarez in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abraham Victorino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Esteban Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Victor Anaya fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Esteban Suarez, passed just outside the right post. Esteban Suarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Victorino in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Orlando Mondragon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Victorino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Esteban Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Anaya was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Hildenborough got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Mondragon. Victor Anaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteban Suarez having to make a save. Claudio Hernández sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Rojas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Luis Giron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hildenborough's Claudio Hernández got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Abraham Victorino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Suarez was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Abraham Victorino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romsey FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Victorino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Rojas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Giron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Rojas in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Romsey FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hildenborough:s goal. In the 97th minute, Oswaldo Viscarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hildenborough had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
