The audience was convinced that Marcos Uranga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovani Sandoval was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Carmelo Medina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Douglas Batres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Douglas Batres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Quijada, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute, Carmelo Medina fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 19 minutes, Shawn Ochoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curdridge FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shawn Ochoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovani Sandoval showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Verdugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Carmelo Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Douglas Batres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curdridge FC's Douglas Batres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Quijada in the 75th minute of play. After 79 minutes, Abraham Corpeño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the High Hesket and the Curdridge FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Curdridge FC booed when High Hesket was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Corpeño didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Marcos Uranga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
