Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alonso Peña kicked off to start the match. Félix Ruiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Saul Escalante fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penistone City's protests and gave Saul Escalante a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Penistone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Escalante to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Earby's Januario Aguilar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Earby's Alonso Peña got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alonso Peña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Gamero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonso Peña, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Earby's Alonso Peña in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penistone City's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonso Peña during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Alonso Peña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Gamero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonso Peña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Earby's Manuel Muñoz in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penistone City's goalie prevented a goal. Isaac Melendez hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Penistone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Coreas to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Coreas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Alonso Peña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Alonso Peña fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 62 minutes into the game, Odir Serrano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Earby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penistone City the free kick. After a rather tough play, Earby's Arnoldo Navas got a free kick in the 64th minute. Diego Gamero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Peña in the 67th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Penistone City got a freekick which was hit by Andrés Cerna. A collision led to Earby getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Manuel Muñoz hit a great ball. Rolando Orellana hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Alonso Peña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Diego Gamero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 77 minutes, Manuel Muñoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Earby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Muñoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alonso Peña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes of play, Penistone City's Félix Ruiz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Guzman was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Isaac Melendez fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Earby's protests and gave Isaac Melendez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Penistone City booed when Earby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Melendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, one of Penistone City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the final whistle sounded Earby left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Penistone City.
