After 14 minutes, Libardo Lovo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sevenoaks and the Ramsgate AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Wilber Llorente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amilcar Galdamez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lorenzo Mejia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Ramsgate AFC's Leopoldo Ramirez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lorenzo Mejia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Leopoldo Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramsgate AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Mejia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Leopoldo Ramirez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. If Leopoldo Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Ramsgate AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Edwin Zelaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilber Llorente in the 51st minute of the match. Sevenoaks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julio Del Cid in the 53rd minute. Julio Del Cid made a great header on Sevenoaks's corner, it was just that Ramsgate AFC's Edwin Zelaya managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 58 minutes, Amilcar Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramsgate AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amilcar Galdamez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgardo Boianelli kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Sevenoaks booed when Ramsgate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Asad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes of play, Sevenoaks's Augusto Medrano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edwin Zelaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Sevenoaks's Lorenzo Mejia got control of the ball when Amilcar Galdamez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sevenoaks's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Leopoldo Ramirez scored to the left of an out of position Lorenzo Mejia, making the score, 2-2. In the 92nd match minute, Ramsgate AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Salamanca to maneuver through the defense. Ramsgate AFC's Edwin Zelaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilber Llorente in the 94th minute of play. With a little luck, Sevenoaks's Lorenzo Mejia got control of the ball when Amilcar Galdamez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramsgate AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sevenoaks to leave the ground with a draw.
