Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgardo Barreto started the match with the kick off. Mauricio Martinez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jairo Messias. Dunston's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Dunston getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Eliseo Larios hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Camilo Leguizamon made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Messias. Dunston's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jairo Messias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Mena went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Ladislao Mena made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Messias. Dunston's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Barking AFC's Jairo Hinguanzo got a free kick in the 27th minute. Barking AFC's Jaime Ventura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Barking AFC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Barking AFC's zone, Jhonnatan Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Ventura came out of the goal and Jhonnatan Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Barking AFC's goalkeeper Jaime Ventura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jhonnatan Duarte.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Mena made a kick off. If Camilo Leguizamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dunston's goalkeeper Jairo Messias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Edgardo Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Elias Guevara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barking AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dunston the free kick. Elias Guevara hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Barking AFC's Ladislao Mena got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dunston's Jairo Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Mena in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Ladislao Mena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jairo Messias. Ladislao Mena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Ladislao Mena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Messias having to make a save. 76 minutes into the match, Barking AFC's Ladislao Mena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Messias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jhonnatan Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jaime Ventura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 minutes, Jairo Hinguanzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barking AFC and the Dunston players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Barking AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Hinguanzo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jhonnatan Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Ventura was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. If Jhonnatan Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Dunston's Carmelo Corrales got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Mena in the 91st minute of play forced Dunston's goalkeeper Jairo Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Barking AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barking AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
