In the 15thth minute of the game Primitivo Mora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Washington United's Pablo Rey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 played minutes Washington United got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Cabrera. 21 minutes into the match, Esteban Vasquez notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Washington United's Pablo Rey. Pablo Rey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Primitivo Mora scored 1-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo Rey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pablo Rey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Vasquez's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Primitivo Mora in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Rey saved Washington United from getting behind. After 34 played minutes Washington United got a freekick which was hit by Angel Rosales. Pablo Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Mora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Wisbech FC were awarded a corner. Gilberto Verdugo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Wisbech FC's corner Gilberto Verdugo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pablo Rey quite easily take care of the ball. Esteban Vasquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Primitivo Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Vasquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Rey having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Washington United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Cristian Barquero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Paz's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Cristian Barquero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amilcar Nunes in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Christian Paz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Barquero was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Cristian Barquero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amilcar Nunes's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Christian Paz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wisbech FC's Cristian Barquero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute of the game, Primitivo Mora landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Rudy Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rudy Nunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 81 minutes into the game, one of Washington United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 98 minutes, Amilcar Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Washington United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amilcar Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Washington United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wisbech FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Wisbech FC.
